Meet The Photographer

Meet Lizzie

Meet Lizzie

My name is Lizzie Knapp, and I am a former Studio Manager for PictureMe (Walmart) Portrait Studio, where my photography career began in 2007. After 17 years of experience, I decided to step back from the professional scene to raise my three boys. With them now grown, I launched my own photography business last summer, reigniting my passion for capturing life's beautiful moments.

Recently, my nephew's wedding brought to light the high cost of photography services when I discovered they couldn't afford a photographer. This prompted me to research local prices, which were surprisingly high. It was then I realized that when PictureMe closed its doors, not only did I lose my job, but my clients lost access to affordable, quality portraits.

I'm here to change that narrative. I offer stunning, high-quality portraits at a fraction of the cost of other photographers. I firmly believe that no one should sacrifice the preservation of cherished memories due to financial constraints. My commitment to you is to always provide beautiful, timeless portraits at prices that won't strain your wallet. I am eager to work with you to create those timeless, unforgettable keepsakes for you and your loved ones.

About My Equipment

No Cell Phone Photography Here!

My career in photography began with PictureMe when it was still a film camera studio, and I witnessed its transition to digital photography. How times have changed indeed! Nowadays, it's not uncommon to see photographers using cell phones for professional portraits, an idea that still shocks me.

All portraiture from me is captured with my Canon 50D DSLR camera, one model above the Canon 40D I used at PictureMe. I assure you that every session will only utilize professional photography equipment to ensure high-quality results.

My approach to photography emphasizes capturing the moment in-camera to minimize post-production time. Editing is kept to a minimum; I primarily use Adobe Photoshop for cropping and minor color adjustments. I believe excessive editing can detract from the authenticity of the image. My software is mostly employed to craft custom collages and unique prints, adding a personal touch to your memories.
