A Closer Look at Our Recent Session: Transforming Poses into Unique Images
To illustrate the Knapping Dragon Photography difference, let’s dive into our recent session where we created 18 images from 5 distinct poses.
For Pose 1, I positioned this couple so that their bodies faced each other, with their heads slightly tilted towards one another. The background was a natural setting, and I applied the Bokeh effect to blur the background while keeping both subjects in focus. Observe how the other images use the exact same pose, but with different backgrounds, transforming one pose into three distinct images.
For Pose 2, I positioned the female model with her back to the male model's chest and had him rest his hand on her shoulder. As you'll notice, I used the identical pose but swapped out the backgrounds, creating two additional images with the same pose.
In Pose 3, I positioned the models on a bench facing the camera, utilizing the park's natural surroundings to create a bokeh effect in the original image. I then replicated the same pose against a pastel background.
In Pose 4, I once again utilized the female model in a single pose within the park's natural setting. I then applied two different backgrounds to give the same pose a distinct atmosphere.
In Pose 5, I once again utilized the male model, incorporating the park's natural surroundings as the backdrop in the original image. I then applied the same pose to two different backgrounds to achieve a distinct appearance and image while maintaining the identical pose.
By alternating the backgrounds, it's true we gave each photo a different feel or vibe however at the end of the day, it is still the same exact pose, which does not offer much variety when you are only counting images versus poses.
