What To Expect When You Book With Knapping Dragon Photography

If you're thinking about booking a session--whether it's a wedding, senior portraits, family photos, light art, or something else==I want you to know exactly what the process looks like from start to finish. I believe clear communication makes everything more fun and stress-free for everyone involved, so here's a simple breakdown of how it all works.

1. Inquiry & Booking

You reach out via DM, text, phone (501)691-6413, or by booking directly on my website (Book Online | Knapping Dragon Photography). We chat about your vision, dates, location, and what kind of session feels right. Once we've found a date and package that works, I'll send you a simple booking form and invoice (these will automatically be emailed when booking online) Full payment is required at the time of booking--this locks in your date and secures your spot. No deposits, no payment plans--just straight forward commitment so we can both plan ahead with confidence. I will consider payment plans under certain circumstances but total amount must be paid no later than 24 hours prior to the session date. Please speak with me directly about payment options if not able to pay in full and we will work out an arrangement to be added to your contract.

2. Contract Signing

Right at booking, you'll digitally sign a clear contract that spells out everything: what's included (session time, edited images, gallery delivery, usage rights), what's not (RAW files--more on that below), cancellation policy, and any add-ons. Signing is quick, secure, and done online--please retain a copy as this is also your print release.

3. Pre-Session Prep

Prior to your session, we'll hop on a quick call or exchange messages to confirm details: wardrobe ideas, location scouting (if needed), timing, and any special requests. I'll also send you a simple questionnaire so I can learn more about you, your style and what matters most for the phots.

4. The Session Day

I arrive early to set up and scout light. We start on time (I'm never late!), and I'll guide you through poses, expressions, and movement so you feel relaxed and natural. Sessions are fun and low pressure--I'll give gentle direction but lots of space for your personality shine. Whether it's classic golden hour portraits, full light art painting with trails and glows, or a mix, we create magic together in the moment.

5. Post-Production & Editing

After the session, I carefully edit every image in my signature style:

• Cinematic golden hour

  for most sessions (warm, glowing tones, soft light, emotional depth, film-like feel_

• Light Art

  Enhancements for creative or light painting sessions (trails, orbs, glows--all done in-camera and refined in editing)

• I NEVER RELEASE RAW FILES

  --these are digital negatives, and I do not share them as part of any package. You receive fully edited, high-resolution JPEGs ready for prints, social media, or framing. This protects the artistic integrity of the work and ensures you get the final version I created for you.

6. Delivery

You'll receive a private online gallery (usually within 24 to 48 hours, longer for weddings). The gallery includes all of your edited images, downloadable in high-res. You'll also get a print release for personal use. If you'd like prints, canvases, albums, or other products I can help with those too.

7. After Delivery

I'm always happy to make minor adjustments if something doesn't feel quite right (within reason). You're welcome to share your photos online, also nothing makes me happier than seeing how much joy your images bring! Hearing your feedback always makes my day.'
